The first round of the Thapar University JEE Main Cutoff is out in 2024.
Based on the JEE Main ranks and percentiles, the Thapar University BE cutoff 2024 for the Round 1 Seat Allotment has been made public for several BE programs. According to the first round of Thapar University JEE Main, the cutoff scores for students in the General Category have varied from 32664 to 136358.
The most competitive specialism out of all of them is B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering, ranking at 32664, followed by B.E. in Computer Science and Business Systems, ranking at 49810. Nonetheless, with an R1 cutoff of 136358, the B.E. in Electronics Engineering (VLSI Design and Technology) course was the least competitive. The course is more competitive the lower the rank, and vice versa.

Comparison of the JEE Main Cutoff Years for Thapar University: 2024, 2023, 2022
The Thapar University cutoff for 2024 has been announced for nine different BE specializations, including General, SC, and ST for Punjab (Home State) and Outside Punjab (All India). With a final rank of 32664 for the General All India Quota, BE Computer Science has outperformed all specializations according to the findings of the first round of seat assignments. With a course cutoff of 22555 in 2023, it was also the most competitive specialty this year.
The Thapar University cutoff 2024 for R1 for the Home State varied from 47743 to 291981. It is clear from analyzing the two Quota rankings that the All India ranks are more competitive. Additionally, the University's counseling process came to an end following the announcement of the JEE Main Round 4 seat allocation in 2023. Therefore, based on historical patterns, it can be predicted that there will be four rounds for the Thapar University JEE Main Counselling in 2024.
