Overview of Courses Offered

SRM Institute of Science and Technology offers a range of undergraduate (UG), diploma, postgraduate (PG), and research programs. The UG courses include B.Tech., B.Sc., B.Com., BBA, BCA, and B.Arch., while PG programs encompass MBA, M.Tech., and MCA. Research-level courses are also available.

Admission Criteria

Admission to these programs is primarily based on entrance exam scores:

• B.Tech. Admission: Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination with at least 60% marks in PCM. Admission is through the SRMJEEE entrance exam.

• B.A., BBA, B.Com., B.Sc., BCA Admission: Requires completion of 10+2 with at least 50% marks.

• MBA and MCA Admission: Candidates need a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 60% marks. MBA admission additionally requires SRMJEEM or a national-level management entrance exam score.

• M.Tech. Admission: Requires a B.Tech./B.E. degree with at least 60% marks. Admission is based on GATE or SRMJEEE (PG) or TANCET scores.

• Ph.D. Admission: Candidates should hold a relevant master’s or M.Phil. degree with at least 60% marks. Admission involves an entrance exam and interview.

Candidates can apply online through the SRM Institute of Science and Technology's official website. The application process includes:

1. Registration: Visit the official website, register online, and pay the application fee.

2. Application Submission: Fill out the application form online or download it, fill it, and send it to the university along with required documents and a Demand Draft (DD) drawn in favor of SRMIST, payable at Chennai.

3. Documents Required: SSLC mark sheet, HSC mark sheet, domicile certificate, bachelor’s degree certificates, entrance exam scorecards, migration certificate, and character certificate.
