IIMT University, Meerut, firmly believes that financial limitations should never become a barrier to quality education. To support deserving students, the university has disbursed over ₹15 Crores in scholarships so far, recognizing academic merit, sports excellence, and service to the nation.

Merit-Based Scholarship (Direct Admission)

Students admitted based on their qualifying examination marks (10+2 or Graduation) are eligible for tuition fee waivers as per the criteria below:

Note: This scholarship is applicable to most programmes except Nursing, GNM, and certain AKTU-affiliated B.Tech (CSE) programmes.

CUET Score-Based Scholarship

Defence & CAPF Scholarship

• Gallantry Award Winners: 50% Tuition Fee Waiver
• Dependents of Gallantry Award Winners: 40% Tuition Fee Waiver
• Serving Officers (Study Leave): 40% Tuition Fee Waiver
• Serving/Retired Defence & CAPF Personnel and Dependents: 30% Tuition Fee Waiver

Sports Scholarship

• International Level: 100% Fee Waiver + Free Accommodation & Food
• National Level (Medalists): Up to 50% Fee Waiver
• State / Regional Level: 20% – 30% Fee Waiver

All sports scholarships are subject to verification by the IIMT University Sports Committee.

Special Category Scholarships

• Girl Child Scholarship: 5% Tuition Fee Waiver for all female students
• Divyangjan (Differently Abled):
  • 40%+ Disability: 50% Tuition Fee Waiver
  • 60%+ Disability: 80% Tuition Fee Waiver
• COVID-19 Freeship: Special financial support for students who lost earning parents during the pandemic (subject to annual review)

“Shining Star” Cash Awards (For Existing Students)

• University Toppers: Cash awards from ₹50,000 to ₹1.5 Lakhs
• Branch Toppers: Foreign trips and special incentives
• Attendance Awards: Recognition for 100% attendance

Important Notes for Applicants

• Scholarships are applicable on Tuition Fee only (hostel and mess charges excluded).
• Only one scholarship can be availed at a time (highest applicable).
• Continuation of scholarship requires minimum 75% attendance and a clean disciplinary record.

How to Apply for Scholarship?

• Select the applicable scholarship category during the admission application.
• Submit valid supporting documents (mark sheets, certificates, defence ID, etc.).
• Final approval is subject to verification by the Scholarship Committee during counseling/admission.
