Admission is generally granted if you meet the Basic Eligibility (e.g., 60% in 12th + LPUNEST Qualification). However, your Rank/Score determines your Fee Waiver Amount.

The university divides results into three main cutoffs (Brackets):

1. Cutoff I (Category I): Top 10% Rankers → Max Scholarship (50-60%).

2. Cutoff II (Category II): Next 10% Rankers → High Scholarship (40-50%).

1. LPUNEST Cutoff 2026 (Expected)

LPUNEST (Lovely Professional University National Entrance and Scholarship Test) is the primary mode of admission. The cutoff marks depend on the difficulty level of the specific slot you appeared for.

2. B.Tech Cutoff (JEE Mains & LPUNEST)

For B.Tech Engineering, LPU accepts both LPUNEST and JEE Mains.

JEE Mains Percentile Cutoff

If you have a good JEE Mains score, you can directly claim a scholarship without relying solely on LPUNEST.

• 95+ Percentile: Qualifies for Cutoff I (Max Scholarship).

• 90 - 94.99 Percentile: Qualifies for Cutoff II.

• 80 - 89.99 Percentile: Qualifies for Cutoff III.

Law (CLAT / LSAT)

• CLAT: Candidates with an All India Rank (AIR) under 10,000 usually secure the top scholarship bracket.

• LSAT India: Percentile above 80% is considered for Category I.

Architecture (NATA / JEE Paper II)

• NATA Score: 120+ (Category I), 110+ (Category II).

• JEE Main Paper II: 90+ Percentile.

5. Factors Affecting LPU Cutoff 2026

The cutoff brackets are not fixed; they fluctuate based on:

1. Volume of Applications: Courses like CSE (Computer Science) have very high competition, pushing the Cutoff I rank higher.

2. Exam Difficulty: If the LPUNEST slot was difficult, the marks required to enter Cutoff I will be lower.

3. Phase of Admission:

   • Phase I (Early Phase): Lower cutoffs (easier to get scholarships).

   • Phase II/III (Late Phase): Higher cutoffs (harder to get scholarships).
