UPES Dehradun Scholarships
UPES Scholarships serve as financial assistance for meritorious and deserving students. Most scholarships at UPES are merit-based. Additionally, the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies also provides scholarships to Bonafide Uttarakhand students along with various other categories.
UPES Academic Scholarships
Academic scholarships are awarded to students applying for undergraduate programs (except GPP) based on Class 12, JEE Main, or CUET scores. Scholarships range from 10% to 30% of tuition fees for the 1st and 2nd semesters only and are awarded on a merit basis.
- 25 seats reserved for wards of Armed Forces (including paramilitary personnel)
- Scholarship applicable only if acceptance fee is paid before deadline
- Total scholarships available: up to 2700
- All female students scoring above 60% in Class 12 are eligible
- Scholarships awarded in merit order

UPES Bonafide Uttarakhand Scholarship
- 30% tuition fee concession for Uttarakhand residents
- Requires domicile certificate (Sthai Niwas Praman Patra)
- Family income must not exceed INR 12 lakh annually
UPES Fellowship for M.Tech & M.Des
- Up to INR 12,400/month stipend for GATE score ≥ 75 percentile
- Research grant up to INR 50,000
