Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology features a large and well-developed campus designed to support academic excellence and student life. The campus includes modern classrooms, auditoriums, conference halls, a media centre, and a well-equipped central library. In addition to academic facilities, the university also provides extensive sports infrastructure with both indoor and outdoor facilities for students.

Library

The central library at Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology covers a total area of approximately 25,000 square feet and houses a large collection of academic resources. The library contains more than 60,000 books along with subscriptions to 334 national and international journals. The library is also connected to networks such as MALIBNET (Madras Library Network), IIT Library, and the British Council Library, allowing students to access resources from other libraries across Chennai.

Cafeteria

The campus features a spacious mess hall with seating capacity for approximately 2,000 students and staff members at the same time. The mess facility includes a modern bakery and an ice-cream making unit. Separate dining floors are maintained for vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals to ensure convenience and comfort for all students.

Hostel Facilities

The university provides comfortable hostel accommodation with five hostels for boys and five hostels for girls. The hostel rooms are spacious and equipped with several facilities including STD/ISD telephone access, study rooms, ATM facilities, medical laboratories, open-air theatre, gym, yoga and dance classes, juice centres, laundry services, salons, train reservation facilities, and computer labs to support students during their stay on campus.

Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology operates more than 100 buses that transport students and faculty members from various parts of the city and nearby suburbs. Special buses are also arranged for students who remain on campus for additional academic activities such as library work, internet access, or special classes. These buses typically depart from the campus at around 6:00 PM.
