34th Convocation Ceremony 2025
June 20, 2025
Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology conducted its 34th Convocation on June 14, 2025. A total of 4221 undergraduate students, 817 postgraduate students, and 79 Ph.D. scholars received their degrees. 54 students were awarded gold medals for outstanding academic performance. Film director Atlee Kumar received an honorary doctorate.
Excellence Day 2025 – Record Placements
April 7, 2025
Sathyabama celebrated Excellence Day 2025 highlighting its strong placement performance. Over 300 companies participated in campus recruitment offering 3120 job offers. Around 91.87% of registered students secured placements with an average CTC of 5.45 LPA and the highest package reaching 41.20 LPA.
33rd Convocation & NIRF Ranking Achievement
August 20, 2024
The university hosted its 33rd Convocation on August 18, 2024. A total of 3508 UG students, 644 PG students and 122 PhD scholars graduated. Sathyabama also secured the 51st rank among India's top universities in the NIRF rankings.
International Delegation Visit
Aug 6, 2024
Sathyabama welcomed a delegation led by New Mexico Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham. During the visit, the university signed an MoU to collaborate in research areas including sustainable energy, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity.
National Workshop on Blue Biotechnology
July 5, 2024
The university organized a National Workshop on Blue Biotechnology through its National Facility for Coastal and Marine Research. The workshop was supported by the Ministry of Earth Sciences to promote marine biotechnology research and sustainable ocean resource management.
ANBU Initiative for Women’s Health

Sathyabama launched the ANBU initiative to promote women's health and wellness. The program provides free health check-ups through Sathyabama Hospital and encourages women to prioritize healthcare and wellbeing.
Excellence Day 2024 Placement Achievements
May 1, 2024
During Excellence Day 2024, Sathyabama reported over 2454 job offers with a 93.09% placement rate. The highest salary package reached 45.59 LPA while the average salary increased to 5.40 LPA.
NAAC A++ Accreditation

Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology was awarded an "A++" grade by NAAC in its third accreditation cycle, reflecting the institution’s commitment to academic excellence and quality education.
Excellence Day 2023 Placements

Over 300 recruiters participated in campus placements with 2823 offers rolled out and a 91.18% placement rate. The highest salary package reached 53 LPA while the average package stood at 5.20 LPA.
32nd Convocation Ceremony

The university celebrated its 32nd Convocation where more than 3500 undergraduate students, 551 postgraduate students, and 104 PhD scholars received degrees. 47 students were awarded gold medals.
