Dr. D.Y. Patil Vidyapeeth is a deemed-to-be university in Pune, Maharashtra, India. It was established in 2003 under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956 by the Government of India. It has 13 constituent units that offer various courses in health care, biotechnology, management, design, liberal arts, science, and technology. It is accredited by NAAC with a CGPA of 3.64 on a four-point scale at ‘A++’ grade and has been granted Category-I University status by the UGC. It is also ISO 9001:2015 and 14001:2015 certified and recognized as a Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (SIRO) by the DSIR.
