ABES Engineering College Admission Process 2024

ABES Engineering College offers admissions for various courses at both UG and PG levels. The undergraduate program offered is BTech with eight different specializations. At the postgraduate level, the college offers MCA, MBA, and MTech programs. Admission to all courses is strictly entrance-based, with provisions for Management quota admissions for candidates without valid entrance exam scores.

Eligibility & Selection Process

For each program, ABES Engineering College follows two admission modes: counseling and Management quota. 85% of seats are filled through counseling based on entrance exam scores, while the remaining 15% are filled through direct admissions.

Courses Offered

1. BTech

   • Eligibility: Class 12 with a minimum 45% aggregate or DVoc in relevant disciplines
   • Selection Criteria:
     • Counseling-based: JEE Main + UPTAC Counselling (85% seats)
     • Direct: Valid JEE Main Score + Institute-level Test + PI (15% seats)

2. BTech (Lateral Entry)

   • Eligibility: Diploma with minimum 45% aggregate or BSc with 45% aggregate
   • Selection Criteria:
     • Counselling-based: CUET UG + UPTAC Counselling (10% seats)
     • Direct: Valid CUET score + Institute-level Test + PI (15% seats)

3. MBA

   • Eligibility: Bachelor’s degree with minimum 50% aggregate (45% for reserved categories)
   • Selection Criteria: CUET PG + UPTAC Counselling

4. MCA

   • Eligibility: BCA/ Bachelor’s in CSE or equivalent with 50% aggregate (45% for reserved categories) OR BSc/ BCom/ BA with Mathematics at Class 12 or graduation (with additional courses) with 50% aggregate (45% for reserved categories)
   • Selection Criteria:
     • Counseling-based: CUET PG + UPTAC Counselling (85% seats)
     • Direct: Valid CUET Score + Institute-level Test + PI (15% seats)

5. MTech

   • Eligibility: BE/ BTech in relevant specialization with minimum 50% aggregate (45% for SC/ST)
   • Selection Criteria: CUET PG + UPTAC Counselling

Admission Process Steps

Step 1: Application Process

• Candidates must fill out an online application form on the official website of ABES Engineering College.

Step 2: Selection Rounds

• Entrance-based: Candidates are selected based on entrance exam scores (JEE Main, CUET UG/PG).
• Direct Admission: Seats are filled based on institute-level tests, PI rounds, or through Management quota.

Step 3: Counselling Process

• Qualified candidates must participate in UPTAC Counselling conducted by AKTU for final seat allotment.
