How to apply for Ahmedabad University Scholarships?

Those who are interested in applying for scholarships at Ahmedabad University should get in contact with the Office of Undergraduate Admissions and Financial Aid. Ahmedabad University Scholarship Types

1. Ahmedabad Fellowships:

• Full tuition recovery, renewable for four or five years, for the top five students from outside Gujarat.

• Eligibility: A provided AIR in JEE (Main) or admission through ACPC (top 500 ranks) for BTech students.

• Increased according to educational achievement.

2. Ahmedabad Scholarships: 

• 100% tuition fee waiver once during the second semester of UG and Integrated PG course entrance.

• Subject to attaining a specific academic grade, eligibility is decided by an extensive assessment.

• If a candidate is eligible for more than one scholarship, the Ahmedabad Scholarship is given out first.

3. Merit Scholarships:

• Given to those who achieve in every subject starting in their second year.

• The number of scholarships awarded about the total number of students enrolled.

4. Mahatma Gandhi Scholarships: 

• A total of ten scholarships in all programs are awarded annually.

• Full tuition waiver for courses with individual study periods, study materials, textbooks, security deposit, and hostel fees.

• This is given to talented students nationwide who completed Class 10 and 12 with an aggregate score of 90%.

• Students who their schools have nominated must complete both the UG application and the scholarship application.

5. Scholarships Based on Needs:

• waiver of some or all tuition costs, depending on the yearly income of the family.

• A family's annual income must be less than INR 10 lakh for a partial waiver and less than INR 5 lakh for a 100% remission in order to qualify.

• Final judgment following evaluation of revenue, expenses, assets, and independent audit agency visit.
