Academic Requirement

Candidates who have passed the (10+2) standard (with a minimum of 50% marks) from the CBSE/ICSE/UP Board and other state boards with Physics and Chemistry as a compulsory subject along with one of the following subjects: Mathematics, Bio-Technology, Computer Science, and Biology are eligible for admission to the Ist Year of B.Pharm.

Candidates who have passed a 2-year diploma in pharmacy (with a minimum of 60% marks) from an institution recognized by the Board of Technical Education, U.P. are only eligible for admission to the second year of their B.Pharm.

Minimum eligibility for this program is a degree in Bachelor of Pharmacy from any recognized university/institute with a minimum score of 60%. An entrance exam is the preferred mode of admission by most institutes for this program. Most of the institutes accept the score of an entrance exam like the Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT). Students awaiting their graduation results are also welcome to apply for M.Pharma.

Academic Requirements:
No, the candidate shall be admitted to Diploma in Pharmacy Part I, unless he/she has passed any of the following examinations in all the optional subjects and compulsory subjects: (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and/or Mathematics, including English as one of the compulsory subjects):

Intermediate examination in Science; The First Year of the three-year degree course in Science; 10+2 Examination (Academic stream) in Science;

Pre-degree examination; any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above exams.
NOTE:
Admission of candidates to the Diploma in Pharmacy Part I shall be made in order of merit on the basis of a pre-pharmacy test conducted in accordance with the scheme of examinations and syllabus laid down by the university.
