

Overview
An autonomous body under the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, IHM Kolkata was established in 1963. IHM Kolkata offers education to aspirants in different facets of the hospitality industry such as Hotel Management, Catering Technology and General Food Management. Facilities offered at IHM Kolkata’s campus include six fully-equipped kitchens, two bakery and confectionery labs, two well-equipped restaurants, one house-keeping lab, three mock guest rooms, Fidelio lab, one computer lab and a library with over 5,000 books.
IHM Kolkata has four departments, which are – Food Production, Front Office, Housekeeping and F&B Service. The BSc and MSc courses offered at IHM Kolkata are in collaboration with National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology (NCHMCT) and IGNOU. On completion of this course, students are awarded a degree from IGNOU.
