Maulana Azad Medical College (MAMC) is one of the premier medical institutions in India. It offers various scholarships to its students based on academic merit and financial need. Some of the scholarships available at MAMC are:

• Maulana Azad Student Scholarship Scheme (MASSS): This scholarship is awarded to two students in the first year of MBBS with an annual household income of less than 2 lakhs. The scholarship amount is Rs. 30,000 per annum.
• Usha Darshan Foundation Medical Scholarships: Awarded to six students in the first year of MBBS with an annual household income of less than 2 lakhs. The scholarship amount is Rs. 40,000 per annum.
• Dr. Neelam Vasudeva Medical Scholarship: Granted to one student in the first year of MBBS with an annual household income of less than 2 lakhs. The scholarship amount is Rs. 40,000 per annum.
• Mrs. Prakash Kaur Medical Scholarship: Bestowed upon one student in the first year of MBBS with an annual household income of less than 2 lakhs. The scholarship amount is Rs. 25,000 per annum.
• Dr. Rakesh Kumar Sharma Memorial Scholarship: Conferred to one student in the second year of MBBS who has secured the highest marks in the first professional examination. The scholarship amount is Rs. 10,000.
• Smt. Santosh Sharma Memorial Scholarship Scheme: Given to one student in each year of MBBS who has secured the highest marks in the previous professional examination. The scholarship amount is Rs. 10,000.

To apply for these scholarships, students have to submit their income proof, bank details, academic records, and other relevant documents to the college office. The selection of the candidates is done by a committee constituted by the college authorities. The scholarships are disbursed through direct bank transfer to the beneficiaries.
