Admissions
University of Hyderabad admission to all the courses is based on the entrance exam. Hyderabad University, also known as the Central University of Hyderabad, presently offers PG, integrated and doctorate courses in the stream of Science, Management, Engineering and Law across its constituent schools or departments. All the PG and doctorate courses at the University campus are offered under its 12 schools and 41 departments. On the other hand, integrated MA and MSc programmes are offered via the College of Integrated Studies.
The University conducts an entrance exam for admission to MSc, MA, MPA, MFA, MPH, Executive MBA, MBA and PhD programmes. However, it also accepts several national-level entrance exams for MTech, MBA and PhD admissions. In addition to this, this University also offers distance learning courses through its Centre for Distance and Virtual Learning.

Central University of Hyderabad admissions to most of the courses are conducted through an entrance exam. In addition to this, the University also accepts national-level entrance exams like CAT, NIMCET, GATE, UGC NET and CSIR NET for admission to MBA, MCA, MTech and PhDfor admission to MBA, MCA, MTech and PhD programmes, respectively.
