The National Dairy Research Institute (NDRI) Karnal is a premier institute for dairy research and education in India. It offers various undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG), and diploma programs in dairy science and technology.
Eligibility:
- UG Courses: Candidates who have cleared Class XII with at least 60% marks are eligible for UG course admissions at NDRI.
- PG Courses: Candidates who possess a bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks fulfill the National Dairy Research Institute eligibility criteria for PG admissions.
- Diploma Courses: Candidates who have cleared Class X with a minimum of 60% marks are eligible for admission in diploma courses offered at NDRI.
Admission Process:
- UG and PG Courses: For admission in UG and PG courses, candidates need to appear for the All India Entrance Examination for Admission (AIEEA) conducted by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR).
- Diploma Courses: For admission in diploma courses, candidates need to appear for an entrance exam conducted by the institute itself.
Selection Process:
- After clearing the entrance exam, candidates need to attend a counseling session where they are allotted seats in their respective courses and colleges based on merit.
- A certain percentage of seats are reserved for Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC), and Persons with Disabilities (PWD) categories.
