Overview
A private medical college that is deemed to be a university is Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research, also referred to as Sri Ramachandran Medical College. It was established by Sri Ramachandra Educational and Health Trust in 1985. It is an AIU member and recognized by UGC. It has a "A" grade from the NAAC and is accredited by the NABH.
